Mark-A-Lot, Inc. is a high-volume pavement marking and site services contractor serving commercial, municipal, and institutional clients across Massachusetts.

Prepare accurate estimates, evaluate project scope and materials, coordinate vendors, and help move projects from bid to successful execution within a fast-paced operations team.

This is a fast-paced production estimating role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple estimates and client communications daily. This is not an entry-level position. Prior construction estimating experience and takeoff software proficiency are required.

This role requires strong judgment when reviewing plans, specifications, and site conditions to ensure estimates accurately reflect project scope, materials, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam
• Prepare accurate bid proposals and supporting documentation
• Respond to client estimate requests and clarify project scope
• Review contracts, scopes, and rate sheets (including prevailing wage jobs)
• Maintain organized estimate files and records in Salesforce
• Communicate regularly with Ownership, Project Managers, Field Supervisors, and clients

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years construction estimating or bid coordination experience
• Strong experience with Bluebeam or digital takeoff software
• Experience preparing construction proposals and bid packages
• Ability to review contracts and project specifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work full-time in our Holbrook, MA office
• Ability to think critically about scope, materials, and site conditions to develop practical estimating solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Field experience in construction, site work, paving, traffic line striping, or pavement marking is a plus
• Experience working in high-volume estimating environments
• Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems

Compensation:
The compensation range for this position is $80,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated estimating ability, plus opportunities for growth as responsibilities expand.
