Mobile Service Technician - Ford & Lincoln

Job Overview:

Responsibilities:
• Travel to customers’ locations to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Ford & Lincoln vehicles.
• Diagnose vehicle issues and provide accurate estimates for repairs.
• Communicate with customers to advise of vehicle issues that will require a trip to the dealership; coordinate with staff back at the store to arrange vehicle pickup when needed.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure high-quality service standards.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer’s specifications and safety standards during all repair and maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to continuously improve service processes and efficiency.
Requirements:
• Experience and training as an automotive technician. Ford & Lincoln expertise helpful but not required. You do not need to possess a high level of advanced diagnostic skill, but you do need to be thoughtful and able to work independently and to “know what you don’t know” and communicate well both with customers and with fellow employees.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. One ticket will not disqualify you, but if you have more than three moving violations in the last five years you will not be insurable.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a mobile environment.
• Certification from a recognized automotive training program or vocational school, and/or ASE or similar certification is preferred.
