Senior software engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in C#/.NET to design and maintain secure, scalable solutions and integrate healthcare systems using HL7, DICOM, and FHIR standards. Responsibilities include writing high-quality code, developing unit tests, creating clear documentation, and mentoring junior developers through code reviews. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to performance and security, and collaboration across teams to deliver reliable, interoperable software.
Compensation:
$10-15/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related discipline, such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related; master's degree is preferred.
A minimum of 5+ years in Software Engineering, with experience in multiple technology stacks.
Demonstrated proficiency and fundamental knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
Experience as a software developer in one or more of the following core languages: .NET, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript.
Front end experience with one or more SPA interfaces, such as Angular, React.
Desired experience using healthcare interfaces such as HL7/DICOM/FIHR.
Healthcare interfaces experience preferred.
Strong background in object-oriented programming and strong understanding of using design patterns.
Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and development of containerized applications.
Experience with API development using GRPC and Experience using Visual Studio as a development environment.
Experience with SDLC, including source control, configuration management, continuous integration pipeline.
Desired experience in development of Software as a Medical Device and related design controls.
Experience in System Integration is a big plus.
