Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee and manage our clients' tax compliance and planning needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax regulations and experience working with high net worth individuals, real estate investments, partnerships, estates, trusts, and non-profits. The Tax Manager will play a critical role in providing strategic tax advice and ensuring compliance with all tax obligations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage tax compliance and planning for high net worth individuals and families.
- Advise clients on tax implications of real estate transactions and investments.
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, estates, and trusts.
- Develop tax strategies to optimize clients' tax situations and minimize liabilities.
- Stay updated on tax law changes and communicate relevant updates to clients and team members.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information for accurate tax reporting.
- Manage and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in tax matters.
- Assist non-profit organizations with tax compliance and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax planning and compliance, preferably in a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations affecting high net worth individuals, partnerships, estates, trusts, and non-profits.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
