Trademark Operations Manager (AM Law 100)

Firm:

A nationally recognized AM Law 100 firm with 500+ attorneys providing comprehensive legal services to innovative companies from startups to global enterprises.

Role:

The Trademark Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the trademark support team within the firm. This role ensures efficient workflow management, high-quality docketing and filing processes, and compliance with domestic and international trademark regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate trademark paralegals, specialists, and support staff
• Assign and manage workloads to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
• Oversee trademark prosecution processes, including filings, renewals, oppositions, and maintenance
• Ensure accuracy of docketing systems and critical deadline tracking
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborate with attorneys to support trademark strategy execution
• Serve as escalation point for complex operational issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification preferred
• 4+ years of trademark prosecution or IP operations experience
• 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
• Experience in a law firm or corporate legal department

Working Situation:

Hybrid

Compensation/Benefits:

• Base Salary: $100-140k+, commensurate with experience.
• Additional Compensation: Annual performance-based bonus.
