Behavioral Health Job Details

• Location: Holyoke, MA 01040 (Western Massachusetts behavioral health jobs)
• Setting: Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Contract)
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8 Hour Days)
• Hours per Week: 40 (No weekends, no call requirements)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2000-$2050
• Patient Population: Adults

Clinic Therapist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical therapy experience in behavioral health (1-5 years preferred)
• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related mental health field
• Active LCSW or LICSW license in Massachusetts (MA behavioral health licensure required)
• Experience with individual and group therapy in outpatient mental health settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and adaptable personality

Clinic Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic services to adult patients in an outpatient behavioral health clinic
• Conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
• Support patients with diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using Cerner EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
