Business Office Manager (BOM) - Skilled Nursing
We're seeking an experienced Business Office Manager (BOM) to oversee the daily business office operations of a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate has a strong background in skilled nursing billing, collections, and accounts receivable and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee billing, collections, and accounts receivable
Work with residents and families regarding financial matters
Coordinate insurance verification and authorizations
Ensure accurate, compliant billing and business office processes
Supervise and support business office staff
Prepare reports and maintain financial records
Qualifications:
Previous Business Office Manager or senior business office experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility required
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care billing
Experience with electronic billing systems (PointClickCare or similar preferred)
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Finance or accounting background is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
$50,000-$60,000 annually
