Location: Hyannis, MA 02601

Schedule: 5×8-hour shifts

Local Pay Range: $54–$59/hour

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – IV Therapy for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities

• Apply the full nursing process to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care with accurate and timely documentation.

• Summarize assessment findings and initiate individualized care plans; communicate key information to the clinical team.

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to therapies and interventions.

• Demonstrate competency in assuming charge responsibilities when assigned.

• Maintain proficiency with electronic medical records and nursing informatics systems.

• Serve as a clinical resource for staff regarding patient care, orientation, and education.

• Participate in at least four unit meetings annually and attend all mandatory training sessions.

• Support quality improvement initiatives by identifying clinical indicators and evaluating care effectiveness; adhere to safety, infection control, and blood/body fluid policies.

• Maintain ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices related to assigned patient populations.

• Positively represent the organization through professional conduct, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service.

• Provide excellent service to patients, families, visitors, volunteers, and colleagues.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Successful completion of facility-required Pharmacology exam

• Proficient verbal and written communication in English

• Prior IV therapy experience required

• Current hands-on IV and vascular access experience

• Competent in peripheral line placement for pediatric and neonatal patients (within 6 months of hire)

• Experience with PICC line insertion and ultrasound-guided PIVs preferred

• Proficient in PICC placement within 1 year of hire

• IV Certification (CRNI) required within 2.5 years

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
