Shifts Available:

• Shift 1: Wednesday–Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Shift 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Job Summary: Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking CT Technologist for an exciting Travel and/or Local job in New York, NY 10011 .

• Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic CT images.

• Perform daily quality control calibration checks on CT equipment to confirm proper function prior to patient studies.

• Administer contrast material or radioactive substances per physician’s order following established protocols.

• Adhere to documentation policies by maintaining logs, manuals, charge documents, and reporting equipment issues for regulatory compliance.

• Conduct quality control, quality assurance, and radiation safety tests in line with ALARA principles.

• Manage and retrieve patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation.

• Order and verify patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses, ensuring compliance with safety and procedural standards.

• Verify radiopharmaceutical delivery, including activity levels, before administration.

• Perform CT procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Apply sound judgment in assessing and responding to patients’ needs before, during, and after procedures.

• Strong technical skills with CT imaging systems and safety protocols.

• Ability to work effectively in a hospital/clinical radiology setting.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

• New York State Department of Health Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.).

• ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT (current).

• BLS Certification (AHA).

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required.

• Certification to inject contrast (per NYS DOH regulations).

• ARRT (MR) certification preferred.
