Registered Nurse,

This role is for a Registered Nurse in a critical care float pool, rotating between ICU and PCU units on a 36-hour per week schedule. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to critically ill patients, requiring a minimum of two years of ICU experience and proficiency in EPIC. The position involves rotating shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) and working every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

- Providing skilled nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU and PCU settings.
- Administering medications and treatments.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and assessing patient conditions.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Documenting patient care accurately and completely in EPIC.
- Floating to different units as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of ICU experience.
- Experience in a Trauma Level I or II facility (Trauma Level I preferred).
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.
- Successful completion of a tele test on the first day of employment.
- 2024-2025 flu vaccine (or attestation of intent to receive prior to start).

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Previous travel nursing experience.

Special Considerations:

- 4-week block rotation between 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts.
- Every other weekend work required.
- Must pass a tele test on the first day of employment; failure results in termination.
- Facility does not accept certain candidates (specific criteria not provided).
- Cannot have worked for any Beth Israel facility (permanent, travel, or PRN) within the past six months.
- BILH Coversheet Required.

Scheduling:

- 36 hours per week.
- Rotating 4-week blocks of 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts.
- Every other weekend rotation.
