Landscape Maintenance Crew Member

Responsibilities

• Perform the general lawn maintenance tasks (mowing turf and natural grass/areas, weed whacking, driveway drags/raking) of client properties
• Assist with various other landscape maintenance tasks and landscape enhancement projects including but not limited to: gutters, beds, patios, docks, digging trenches, removals, pruning and planting of small trees and shrubs, storm cleanups as needed
• ​​​​​​Prepare, load, and unload trucks for the day's tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance of trucks, trailers, and other equipment
• Ensure all time entries at job sites are submitted accurately and timely on our mobile software device
• Operate equipment safely, using all necessary personal protection gear and safety practices
• Maintain courteousness and professionalism on and off the job site
• Attend safety trainings and other staff meetings as required
• Drive a truck with a trailer safely (for driving eligible candidates)
• Support in snow removal operations seasonally

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance (preferred) Willing to train the right individual(s)
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, pulling of various landscape equipment and materials (i.e. bark blowers, walker mowers, backpack blowers, wheel barrows etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Valid Driver's License

Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $20.00-$25.00 per hour .

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Weekends as needed during peak season

License and Experience Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Hoisting License (not required but a plus!)
• US work authorization (required)
