About the Role
Milkshake Factory is seeking a dependable and experienced General Manager to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations and lead a dedicated team committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. The General Manager plays a vital role in ensuring operational consistency, financial performance, and employee development - keeping the restaurant running smoothly and efficiently every day. Lead with Excellence. Build Stability. Inspire Your Team. Salary and benefits ranging between 70,000 and 90,000 based on a 45 hour work week. Eligible for quarterly bonuses and profit sharing. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Take the helm and own all restaurant operations at Milkshake Factory.
- Drive operational excellence, covering cash management, food safety, inventory control, and team performance.
- Ensure service, quality and cleanliness standards are met at all times.
- Recruit, hire, train and develop team members and shift leaders.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to control costs and prevent waste.
- Ensure proper execution of opening, operating and closing procedures.
- Lead by example with a visible presence on the floor, supporting staff in real time.
- Complete administrative responsibilities including scheduling, payroll, reporting and maintenance logs.
- Monitor labor, food and operation costs to maintain profitability.
- Be the ultimate brand advocate, sharing the company's story, history, vision, and products with both consumers and employees.
- Smash those sales goals through consumer-value techniques like bundling and strategic merchandising.
- Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience as a general manager or senior management in a restaurant environment
- Proven track record of maintaining operational excellence and cost control
- Dependable, structured leadership style - focused on consistency, accountability and follow through
- Strong ability to develop, train and retain staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Hands-on approach - willing to work alongside the team to ensure success
- Calm under pressure and solutions driven
- Strong understanding of food safety, scheduling, and financial management
- Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
- College degree is strongly preferred; however, extra years of experience may substitute
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to lift and/or handle packaged goods and materials up to and including 25 lbs
