**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location, including both interior areas and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
+ Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as per site-specific protocols.
+ Assist local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or drills within the government location.
+ Document all activities, observations, and incidents in a thorough and timely manner.
+ Maintain awareness of site-specific protocols and emergency procedures for government facilities.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
