Summer Camp Nurse Opportunity - Make an Impact This Summer!

Location: Newton, MA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-2:30 PM Dates: 7/6-7/31 (plus a 2-day orientation before start) Pay: $53/hr Dress Code: Scrubs

Join an inclusive sports camp serving children ages 8-12-half with and half without intellectual or developmental disabilities. What Makes This Role Special

You'll be the sole RN onsite, playing a key role in keeping campers safe, supported, and ready to enjoy their day. This is a great fit for nurses who enjoy autonomy, collaboration, and being part of a mission-driven program that truly values inclusion.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide onsite medical support for campers ages 8-12

• Oversee daily health needs, medications, and treatments

• Manage first aid, injuries, and health concerns

• Support campers with chronic conditions

• Communicate with camp leadership, families, and staff

• Maintain accurate health logs and documentation

• Contribute to a positive, inclusive camp culture

• Join campers outdoors when possible to be part of the fun

What You'll Need

Required:

• Active MA RN license

• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or group home settings

• Comfort working with children ages 8-12

• BLS certification

Preferred:

• Previous camp or community-based experience

• Interest in being active and engaging with campers outdoors
