Bi-lingual- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join an excellent Family Health Center in the Boston area.
Family Nurse Practitioner: Diagnoses and treats a variety of diseases and injuries in general practice by performing the following duties under Physician Supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients, record and elicit medical information regarding patients.
- Provide and assess preventative health care advice and case management, address psychological impacts of illness, and refer patients for further evaluation and treatment.
- Administer and prescribe treatment and drugs, vaccinate patients.
- Participate in 24-hour on-call medical coverage, including at least two consecutive nights per week and one weekend every four weeks.
- Participate in on-site and off-site outreach and continuing education programs to maintain licensure and meet the needs of the population.
Requirements for the FNP or PA:
- FNP or PA Degree
- Current DEA and MA Licenses
- Ambulatory setting experience preferred
- Diverse culture experience preferred
Bi-lingual skills a plus - SPEAK SPANISH or HAITIAN CREOLE
