TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Attleboro, Massachusetts, 02703!
Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Experience in Labor and Delivery Description: This position involves providing care in a labor and delivery unit. The unit accommodates neonates to adults. Staff will follow inpatient rooming with infants. All infants will be in rooms with mothers. The newborn nursery will be utilized as needed for infants requiring additional care. Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required. The unit features a 15 bed capacity for labor and delivery. Weekend coverage will be required every other weekend. The medication system in use is Omnicell. Communication follows the SBAR format. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS. Additional certifications include AWHONN Beginner and NRP. Experience with patient ratios and charting systems is preferred. Skills required include support for breastfeeding, pain assessment, and labor management. Candidates should be comfortable with various procedures and assessments related to labor and delivery. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is expected. Travel experience is required. Experience using different monitoring techniques and equipment is necessary. About Cynet Health
