Director of Growth Marketing

As a Director of Growth Marketing, you will own and lead the growth marketing engine for Cynomi. You’ll combine strategic planning with hands-on execution, build and manage a high-performing team, and scale our demand generation machine (inbound, outbound and ABM) across MSP cohorts. You’ll optimize the digital experience from web to funnel to conversion and collaborate closely with content, product marketing, sales and operations to accelerate growth. Cynomi is a fast-growing, Silicon Valley VC-backed cybersecurity startup. Experiencing massive growth over the past year, our SaaS product is used by hundreds of service providers worldwide.

Operating across three continents, Cynomi is leading the vCISO (virtual Chief Information Security Officer) market category with rapidly growing demand for its AI-powered vCISO platform, which empowers service providers (MSPs and MSSPs) to provide high quality cybersecurity services to their customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a growth and demand generation strategy for MSP segments to drive qualified pipeline
  • Build and scale multichannel campaigns across paid digital, email, SEO, content, events and intent data
  • Lead ABM programs including target account selection, personalized outreach and nurture journeys
  • Own the digital funnel. Website experience, conversion optimization, analytics and continuous improvements
  • Design lead scoring and nurturing workflows to improve funnel conversion (MQL → SQL)
  • Track and optimize core metrics: MQLs, SQLs, pipeline, CAC, ROI and conversion rates
  • Build, manage and mentor the demand generation team
  • Partner closely with SDR, Sales, Product Marketing and Content for alignment and handoff
  • Manage the marketing tech stack including CRM, automation, ABM and attribution
  • Oversee budgets, test new channels, forecast spend and evaluate performance
  • Stay ahead of cybersecurity, AI and MSP trends and drive ongoing experimentation

Not a Must, But a Plus:
  • Experience in global / regional demand generation (APAC, EMEA) or scaling internationally in SaaS
  • Deep understanding of MSP buyer personas: MSP decision-makers, MSP clients, end-user security buyers (CISO, SecOps/DevSecOps, risk/compliance)
  • Experience with intent-data platforms, partner/channel demand generation, growth hacking / agile marketing approaches
  • Strong growth experimentation mindset (A/B testing, funnel optimization, rapid iteration)

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years in B2B SaaS demand generation or growth (security/AI/cloud a plus)
  • Proven experience leading and scaling teams in fast-moving environments, including hiring, coaching and driving high-velocity execution
  • Proven record scaling pipeline and revenue through demand generation and ABM
  • Experience with automation, CRM and ABM tools including HubSpot, Clay and 6sense
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPIs, dashboards, attribution and funnel optimization
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors and agencies
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner across Sales, Product and Content
  • Leadership experience including hiring, coaching and driving execution
  • A hands-on, fast-moving and experimentation-driven mindset
