General School Nurse | Middlesex and North Shore

Details of the Position Include:

Pay Rate: $45/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: End of the 24/25 school year

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 32.5 hours /week

Requirements: LPN only; 1+ year of school nursing or pediatric experience

Description: General school nurse will be responsible for overseeing the nursing office for students. Students may present with diabetes management needs, and minor injuries (bumps, bruises, etc.).

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited registered, practical or vocational nursing program

• Licensed as a Licensed Practical, Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing

• One year of professional experience, preferred

• Current CPR

• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
