Extrusion and Blending Machine Operator

Position Overview
Operate blending systems and extrusion lines to produce high-quality custom compounds. Verify materials, complete production documentation, maintain housekeeping and safety standards, and collaborate with teammates to meet output and quality targets.
Work Pattern
- Seven (7) shifts every two weeks: Week 1 (Sun, We, Th); Week 2 (Mo, Tu, Fr, Sa)
- 12-hour rotations: Day 6:45am–7:00pm; Night 6:45pm–7:00am
- Overtime built in on Sundays and for hours above 40 each week
- Voluntary overtime opportunities
Core Responsibilities
- Interpret and execute written and verbal instructions
- Verify item numbers, lot numbers, and quantities for accuracy
- Record production data legibly and completely
- Uphold 5S/cleanliness standards
- Proactively monitor personal and team safety
- Complete computer-based training as assigned
Preferred Experience
- Blending operations
- Extruder operations and setup
- Troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Team leadership
- Safe forklift operation
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 55 lbs
- Stand for long durations
- Frequently climb, bend, and stretch
