Job Opening: Full-Time Accountant (On-Site or Remote)

Description:
EX Venture Academy is urgently seeking a full-time Accountant with strong experience in European market regulations, particularly German tax laws and credit systems. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of accounting functions and grow with us long-term. We are looking for a reliable, committed professional to join our team as our current accountant is unable to sustain the demands of the role. This position offers flexibility for remote work, but on-site presence is preferred.

What You’ll Do:
📊 Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
📑 Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including VAT filings, corporate tax filings, and compliance with German and EU tax regulations.
💼 Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
🔍 Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and identify areas for process improvement.
💻 Manage the credit system, monitor accounts receivable/payable, and ensure proper reconciliation.
📈 Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

What We’re Looking For:
🎓 Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
🧠 Strong experience with German tax laws and European financial systems.
💻 Proven ability to use accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
📊 Experience managing tax filings, financial forecasting, and credit systems.
💬 Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
🌍 Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written.
