Our thriving veterinary practice is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate technician or assistant with prior experience in surgical procedures and anesthesia . Whether you’re a CVT or an experienced veterinary assistant, if you’re confident in the surgical suite and passionate about animal care, we want to hear from you!

We are offering up to $2,500 as a Sign-On Bonus!

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

• Surgical prep, monitoring, and assistance
• Anesthesia administration and monitoring
• Effective communication with clients and teammates
• Educating pet owners on post-op and general care
• Safe handling and restraint of animals
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Administering medications (PO, SQ, IM, IV)
• Obtaining vitals and patient history
• Performing in-house lab testing and radiographs

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Prior experience in a veterinary setting with a focus on surgery
• Completion of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program (for CVTs)
• Current Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license (preferred for technician applicants)
