Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Correctional Facility | Billerica, MA

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a respected correctional facility in Billerica, MA, currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time position. Correctional or psychiatric experience is required.

Position Details:

• Location: Billerica, MA
• Facility Type: Correctional Facility
• Start Date: April 6th
• Duration: 6-month contract to start, with strong potential for extension
• Schedule: Friday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Pay: $47/hr

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and assist with medical treatments
• Perform triage, risk assessments, and emergency first aid
• Apply surgical dressings and bandages
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Collect specimens for diagnostic testing
• Document care accurately and timely
• Report reactions to treatments and changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and assist with discharge planning
• Promote a therapeutic and professional environment
• Support physicians and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts RN license or proof of application
• Minimum 1 year of correctional healthcare or psychiatric experience
• Current CPR certification
• Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)
