Job Title: Radiologic Technician (Allied)

Location: Lawrence MA
Employment Type: 13 week contract
Shift: 8 Hour Evenings

Pay Rate: up to $2600/weekly + benefits from day 1!

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technician (Allied) to join our healthcare team. The Radiologic Technician performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly

• Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

• Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively

• Ensure radiation safety and follow ALARA principles

• Review images for technical quality and accuracy

• Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions as needed

• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the EMR

• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and allied health staff

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in radiologic technology or related field (required)

• Current ARRT certification (required)

• Active state licensure, where applicable

• BLS certification required

• Minimum [1] year of clinical radiology experience preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong patient care and communication skills

• Attention to detail and image quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of radiographic positioning and anatomy

• Familiarity with digital radiography and PACS systems

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods

• Lift and position patients safely

• Ability to wear protective equipment as required
