We are seeking a Professional Buyer/Trader to become an integral part of our expanding coin, diamond, and collateral loan business. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment related to precious metals, coins, diamonds, jewelry, luxury watches, high end designer brands, and more.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for buying and selling gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, watches, coins, paper currency, stamps, rare antiques, and luxury designer handbags and accessories. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on providing exceptional customer service in a professional work environment dealing directly with client relationships and monitoring commodity prices and alternative asset values on a daily basis.

Experience in finance, jewelry, coins, designer goods, or precious metals is preferred but not required—we will train the right person. Above all, we value attitude, intelligence, professionalism, friendliness, patience, gratitude, discipline, and consistency.

Weekends are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and identify their needs in a professional and friendly manner

• Explain products, services, and transaction processes clearly and confidently

• Assess and determine the value of items customers wish to sell or use as collateral meeting underwriting guidelines

• Negotiate pricing with professionalism and integrity

• Accurately record and process purchases, sales, and customer orders

• Investigate and respond promptly to customer inquiries

• Maintain an organized and secure environment

• Lift and move boxes, inventory, or merchandise as needed

• Stand for extended periods during shifts

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields helpful

• Experience with and passion for jewelry, precious metals, numismatics, or luxury designer goods a plus

• Positive energy, self-starter mentality, and ability to learn quickly

• Strong decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to build rapport and trust with customers

• Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Ability to lift boxes (up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for long periods)
