Certified Medical Assistant - Cambridge MA
REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program or has obtained a Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA)
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a physician office
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, diplomacy, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Phlebotomy skills
- Maintain CPR certification and participate in site-based CPR drills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a complex and busy environment and see them through to completion.
Working Conditions: Ability to move 15 pounds or more, including but not limited to the placement of infants and children on examination tables or weighing scales.
Must be available to work three 12-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift per week. Every third week, there is a requirement of two 12-hour shifts (weekday), one 4-hour shift (weekday), and a weekend shift (both Saturday and Sunday) from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Must be available to work minor holidays (10:00 am to 4:00 pm).
