Hourly rate: $16.50 - $18.00/hour

Job Description:

Prior experience as a supervisor and meeting metrics desired. Work as a delivery driver in some capacity helpful, but not required. Must remain agile and ready to handle sudden route changes or delivery matters. Maintain high level of professionalism and leadership in order to mentor other drivers. Responsibilities include monitoring delivery routes and package delivery and communicating with the delivery drivers, while anticipating, assigning, and executing rescues as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee or lead employees working as a Delivery Associate.
• Research and prepare resources to develop timely as well as efficient workflow.
• Manage development, research as well as reconcile departmental reports.
• Manage complete daily issue resolutions for Delivery Associates in all delivery areas assigned.
• Maintain steady visibility to as well as track of every Delivery Associate daily.
• Identify issues and root cause for delivery obstacles to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Convey departmental tasks for guidance of management.
• Maintain contact with all internal departments (i.e. - Fleet Team, Training Team) inclusive of issue resolution.
• Conduct project management and coordinate duties as required.
• Execute personnel activities as per company’s policies as well as applicable laws.
• Ensure all staff members attain company as well as location standards.
• Monitor employees as well as operational processes.
• Perform duties and tasks assigned by Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be willing to commit to a consistent schedule. Working weekends is required. Standard 9.5 -hour workday, please note we operate in rain, sleet, and snow, until the job is complete.

• Previous experience supervising a team
• Safe driver who must follow all traffic laws and safety precautions, while operating a company cargo van
• Positive attitude
• Adaptable, dependable, fast learner
• Must be able to lift and move packages weighing up to roughly 50 lbs. (hand trucks are provided)
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Good communication skills
• Experience: delivery experience required

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must pass a comprehensive drug screening AND a seven (7) year background check
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must attend all training sessions

Shifts :

8-10 hour shifts daily, 4 days a week. Days and hours may vary depending on volume and need.
