Material handler

Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, move, and stage products and materials using manual or powered equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against packing slips, and inspect for damage
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with company standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper labeling and documentation
- Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
- Follow company safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Assist with periodic cycle counts and full physical inventories
- Support other warehouse functions and departments as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 years of warehouse or material handling experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills
- Minimum of 2 years propane forklift experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed
