Massachusetts Families for Vaccines State Director
- Massachusetts Families for Vaccines State DirectorAmerican Families for Vaccines**Location:** Must reside in-state, with the ability to travel to the state capitol and occasionally nationally **Employment Type:** Full-Time (Exempt) **Compensation:** $70,000 **Reports to:** Director of Advocacy* Serve as the lead strategist and spokesperson for Massachusetts Families for Vaccines* Design and execute state strategic plans, including legislative and public education campaigns* Track and respond to legislative and regulatory threats related to vaccine policy* Represent the organization in coalitions, media, and policy forums* 5+ years of relevant experience (organizing, policy, public health, advocacy)* Proven experience running or coordinating successful advocacy or legislative campaigns* Deep knowledge of the state political and health landscape* Strong public speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills* Experience working with marginalized communities* Commitment to evidence-based policy and science communication* Ability to work some evenings/weekends and travel in-state as needed* Background in public health, education, medicine, or policy* Familiarity with EveryAction, Canva, or other digital organizing and design tools* Bilingual or multilingual proficiency* Comprehensive health insurance for employee, partner, and dependents, retirement contribution, generous PTO, paid holidays, travel reimbursement, and remote work flexibility.* Flexible work hours and fully remote work environment with opportunities to travel and engage colleagues in-person a few times per year.*American Families for Vaccines is an equal opportunity employer and committed to hiring without regard to age, race, ethnicity, ability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, family status, disability, military status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
