Summary Select orders Shrink wrap orders on pallets Checking all incoming shipments Arranging products in a neat, secure package for delivery, organizing pallets with frozen products suitable for shipping Verifying information on purchase orders (printing all incoming purchase orders on JD Edwards computer system) Rotating product for storage up to and including lotting and inventory Processing wholesale and retail orders (including setting-up, checking/verifying, shipping, and quality control) Filling company requisitions Complete all JDE transactions related to this position Finished Goods, maintaining accurate locations of inventory to ensure proper levels Must be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand dollies Verifying and shipping all outgoing material/including but not limited to Dianne's Fine Desserts Product Checking all incoming and outgoing carriers Knowledge of all GFSI/FDA and OSHA regulations Participate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions Must adhere to the plant's HACCP plans Will also be crossed trained & utilized as Warehouse Receiver as needed Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work area Following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) Performs other duties as assigned Works One Saturday a month mandatory for Inventory Works Friday and Saturday's when business calls for extra hours Actively participates in Continuous Improvement projects and processes Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent Forklift experience required Ability to work independently Possess English reading and writing skills Experience handling heavy machinery (e.g. forklift) Ability to do overhead lifting and bending Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Possessing excellent upper and lower body strength Possessing normal to excellent manual dexterity and motor skills Possessing good eye-hand coordination Possessing excellent listening and comprehension skills Must possess good interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with others Ability to become familiar with DSI/JD Edwards computer system and apply this knowledge to daily duties Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
