WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Data Scientist, you’ll design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics and machine learning models that power real business outcomes. You’ll work cross-functionally with Data Engineers, Product Owners, and AI Specialists to turn data into insight and insight into action.
In this role, you will:
- Solve real-world problems using large and complex datasets — identify business opportunities, build predictive models, and deliver actionable insights.
- Write clean, efficient code (Python, PySpark, SQL, etc.) to acquire, manipulate, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning and statistical models tailored to specific business challenges.
- Apply generative AI techniques to extract value from unstructured data and optimize analytical workflows.
- Implement models in production by collaborating with Software Developers, Data Engineers, and ML Engineers.
- Communicate complex technical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to our AI roadmap and help evolve our model deployment and MLOps practices.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
- PhD in a relevant discipline is a plus.
- Must be able to work in the United States
Experience
- 6+ years of professional experience developing and deploying Data Science solutions.
- Proven experience applying machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to solve business problems.
- Ideally coming from a consulting environment (not required, nice to have)
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python and core data science libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Strong SQL skills (Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent) for data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization.
- Experience with MLOps pipelines and model lifecycle tools such as MLflow, Azure Machine Learning, or Databricks.
- Deep understanding of cloud data ecosystems (Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Git-based version control, CI/CD practices, and debugging methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with the Azure AI ecosystem — Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Search, Copilot Studio, and Azure Functions or Logic Apps.
- Background in Azure DevOps, microservices, and unit testing.
