Case Manager - Detox/Substance Abuse Treatment

Case Manager – Detox/Substance Abuse Treatment/ Recovery Specialist - Case Management
Location: Danvers, Massachusetts 01923
Blended pay: $31-33/hr. (Local-Traveler)
Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Wednesday–Saturday)
Guaranteed Hours: 32
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (or Associate degree in Human Services field)
- 2–3 years of experience in: chemical dependency, substance abuse treatment, behavioral health, detox settings
- Knowledge of community resources and aftercare programs
- CAC (Certified Addiction Counselor) preferred
- Must complete: CPI training (Crisis Prevention Intervention)/ CPR certification.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment/discharge plans.
- Provide counseling and emotional support to patients.
- Coordinate care with families, providers, and community resources.
- Assist with medications, transportation, and aftercare placement.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
- Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and unit management.
- Participate in group activities, wellness programs, and patient education.
- Perform safety checks and contraband searches as needed.
