Job Title: Preschool Classroom Float/In house Sub

Who You Are: You may be an experienced teacher looking for something different or someone just starting out in the field. You are flexible and can jump in a classroom whenever needed. You are adaptable and able to communicate well with your coworkers.

The Opportunity: Your role would be a dual role, consisting of supporting the teachers as well as filling in if anyone is out for the day. The position would be fulltime Monday-Friday. You would be working with preschoolers anywhere from 2.9-5 years of age. You would be filling in whenever someone is out for the day keeping it is consistent for the children. On days that all the staff are in, you would be supporting wherever is needed in the school.

We are committed to providing high-quality, customized education to children ages 2 years 9 month through 6. Animal Crackers is licensed for 76 preschool aged children. We emphasize play and socialization at ACNS because that is the world in which children operate.

What You’ll Do:

● Fill in for a preschool class of no more than 10 children

● Supporting the teachers with tasks

● Actively participate in a professional development and the creation and implantation of a succession plan

● Work collaboratively with the director to assist in projects as needed

Must-haves in a Candidate:

● EEC Preschool Teacher Certification (Willingness to obtain EEC Director certification if not yet certified)

● Strong time management skills

● Top notch communication skills (oral and written)

● The ability to be flexible and adapt as situations arise

Nice to Have In a Candidate:

● Previous experience in managing a preschool classroom

● This is a full-time, year-round, hourly position.
