Mystic Valley Regional Charter School (MVRCS) is a public charter school located in Malden, Massachusetts, serving over 1,700 students in grades K–12. The school operates across four campuses:

• Kindergarten – 576 Eastern Avenue

• Lower School (Grades 1–8) – 770 Salem Street

• High School (Grades 9–12) – 238 and 306 Highland Avenue

Mystic Valley primarily serves students from the surrounding communities of Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Stoneham, and Wakefield. The school follows an extended day and extended year academic model, with classes held from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM over a 200-day school year.

Job Summary
Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is seeking dynamic, collaborative educators who are committed to continuous improvement and student success. Teachers work closely with their grade-level teams to deliver high-quality instruction and uphold academic excellence.

Responsibilities Include:

• Implementing curriculum and instructional activities aligned with academic standards

• Designing and delivering assessments to measure student progress

• Using assessment data to adjust instructional strategies and improve outcomes

• Participating in collaborative curriculum development and grade-level planning

• Upholding consistent expectations for student behavior through positive reinforcement and accountability

• Taking ownership of student achievement and academic growth

• Building strong, communicative relationships with students, families, and colleagues

• Engaging in a mandatory three-week staff orientation and training each year

Qualifications:

• A deep commitment to student learning and personal development

• Demonstrated success in raising student achievement

• Enthusiasm and content mastery in History (or applicable academic subject)

• Self-motivation, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset

• Experience working in an academic setting preferred
