First Aid - Sr Supply Chain Mg
UniFirst’s First Aid + Safety division is seeking a results-driven and strategic Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is critical to driving performance across demand planning, procurement, inventory optimization, and supplier management—all while ensuring exceptional service and cost efficiency.
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee a team of planners and buyers, acting as both a leader and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on product specifications, sourcing strategies, and manufacturing processes. In this role, you will own supplier relationships, lead contract negotiations, and ensure seamless coordination across cross-functional teams to support growth and operational excellence. Our standard is a 5-day work week, enjoy two days off a week. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.
Pay & Benefits:

Compensation: $120,700 - $167,600 annual salaty, commissions elegible

What you’ll be doing:
Supply Chain Strategy & S&OP Leadership
Own and evolve the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process to align supply chain execution with demand forecasts, production, and financial goals.
Drive strategic alignment across supply, demand, and inventory planning, ensuring optimized working capital and customer fulfillment.
Analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify cost savings, improve service levels, and mitigate risks.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop the Supply Chain team including Planners, Buyers, and Analysts.
Provide clear direction, performance feedback, and professional development to ensure high team performance and accountability.
Build a collaborative, data-driven culture focused on continuous improvement and executional excellence.
Supplier Management & Procurement
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact.
Lead contract negotiations, pricing agreements, and performance evaluations to ensure favorable terms and reliable service.
Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, ensuring that sourcing aligns with cost, quality, and lead-time targets.
Monitor supplier compliance with product specifications, safety standards, and sustainability initiatives.
Product Expertise & Manufacturing Support
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for First Aid + Safety products, including deep knowledge of materials, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
Support the introduction of new products and SKUs by collaborating with Product Development, Sales, and Quality teams to align supply chain readiness.
Provide insight into market trends, raw material availability, and manufacturing capabilities to inform sourcing strategy.
Data Analytics & Reporting
Build and utilize robust forecasting models and dashboards to guide supply chain decisions and measure performance.
Leverage data to support executive decision-making and provide scenario-based planning recommendations.
Perform root-cause analyses and develop solutions to prevent supply disruptions or excess inventory buildup.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Finance, IT, Sales, and Manufacturing to ensure integrated supply chain operations.
Coordinate product transitions, vendor changes, and large-scale initiatives requiring cross-departmental alignment.
Support inventory and fulfillment goals during customer launches, promotions, and seasonal demand spikes.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably required by the Manager or Supervisor
QualificationsExperience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations leadership
2+ years of people management experience required
Experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, or industrial supply preferred
Demonstrated success with supplier negotiations and contract management
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field required
Master’s Degree or relevant certification (APICS, CPIM, CSCP) preferred
