Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other related financial activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare month-end journal entries and maintain the general ledger, record cash receipts, and financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank, credit card accounts, and intercompany accounts.
• Perform month-end close procedures.
• Maintain on-time and proper customer invoicing.
• Prepare and analyze payable reports.
• Provide accounting and financial support to management as needed.
• Support the external audit functions.
• Other projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience and knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Professional level communication skills.
• Strong analytical and math skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess a high degree of accuracy.
• Must be comfortable in a deadline-driven environment and able to meet accounting deadlines.
• Strong and proven organizational skills are necessary.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word required.
• Strong Excel spreadsheet capabilities are a plus.
• Experience with ERP Systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).
• Ability to be on-site 3 days per week.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000. Offered base compensation within this range will be determined based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographic location and other factors relevant to the scope and responsibilities of this role.
