Dispensary Floor Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW
- The Floor Manager ensures all the daily tasks of the department are properly executed. As the head of the Floor Department, this position requires a strong leader who can ensure all the dispensary's front of the house areas and processes comply with local and state regulations. This role requires strong hospitality and service recovery skills. The Floor Manager will serve as the dispensary's main point of contact for all guest-related inquiries including service and product feedback. Priorities include providing the AGM/GM with all departmental updates including employee performance, sales/product trends, and guest relations while ensuring all the employee needs are handled proactively.

- Full shift availability ( nights, weekends, and holidays required )
COMPENSATION
- $50,000 - $52,000 salaried DOE
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the site is in full compliance with all local and state laws while assisting with regulatory inspections
- Work cross-functionally through the operation and maintain a hands-on lead by example approach
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by all employees in the unit
- Ensure all areas and workstations of the department are kept clean and organized
- Monitor all guest inquiries and service recovery interactions to ensure the highest level of hospitality is achieved
- Responsible for managing the dispensary's cash flow/intake including safe, petty cash, change orders, and tills
- Ensure all customer data, cash tracking, and financial reports are readily accessible/available
- Implement and manage all Company policies and procedures
- Coordinate the recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and development of the department's employees
- Create & maintain the department's staff schedules
- Delegate, manage, and empower the team to achieve an optimal performance
- Align with the AGM & GM to set, meet, and manage all financial and operational goals
- Assist in any and all areas to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success
QUALIFICATIONS
- 21+ and currently residing in the USA
- High School Diploma or GED
- Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (obtained upon hire)
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking, time-management, planning, & organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, critical thinker, problem solver, & assessor
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Bachelor's Degree or industry training equivalent (preferred)
- Retail experience, 3+ years (preferred)
- Cannabis industry experience, 3+ years (preferred)
- Guest service experience, 2+ years (preferred)
- Team building & management experience, 2+ years (preferred)
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Fast-paced, rapid-changing, retail dispensary environment
- Front-facing, customer-care focused areas/stations
- Confined workstations in close proximity to other people (employees, guests, vendors) and crowds
- Handling cannabis products and packaged goods
- Kneeling, squatting, lifting, bending, walking, pivoting, and long-term standing (all expected activities)
- NOTE: The facility contains confined spaces that may only be accessible by ascending/descending stairwells while traveling throughout building. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
