This opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room environment. The role involves delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care while prioritizing patient safety, dignity, and comfort. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure successful surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and implement individualized care plans for surgical patients.
• Maintain sterile fields, prepare surgical supplies, and ensure accuracy in surgical counts and specimen handling.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to coordinate patient care throughout the perioperative process.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations to minimize risk and ensure patient safety.
• Uphold hospital policies on privacy, confidentiality, hand hygiene, and incident reporting.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and facilitate communication among healthcare team members.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current MA RN license required.
• Recent experience in Operating Room nursing is essential.
• ACLS certification required upon hire, or active BLS with ACLS to be obtained within 60 days.
• CNOR certification is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Willingness to take call as per unit rotation.
