Seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development, process improvement, and manufacturing operations initiatives. This role is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of precision fixtures and tooling used for the assembly, integration, inspection, testing, and handling of high-reliability aerospace hardware. The engineer will support production operations by developing robust, repeatable, and contamination-conscious fixturing solutions that ensure dimensional accuracy, product quality, operator efficiency, and configuration control. This position works closely with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Test Engineering, Production, and Program Management. Responsibilities Lead process development and continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations. Provide technical support and on-the-job training to production personnel and supervisors. Develop, maintain, and improve work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation. Review engineering and manufacturing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Develop and implement long-term process improvement plans focused on cost, quality, and delivery performance. Collaborate with operations, engineering, management, and customers to identify priorities and implement process improvements. Coordinate process development activities with production schedules and manufacturing resource planning. Evaluate process capabilities and implement statistical process control (SPC) where appropriate. Support product quality initiatives through process control and continuous improvement methodologies. Identify, procure, and manage tooling, equipment, and materials required for manufacturing operations. Recommend new equipment and tooling investments based on quality, productivity, and cost benefits. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a low- to medium-volume manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of GD&T. Experience with MES systems (Tulip preferred). CAD proficiency. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Preferred Qualifications Chemistry or epoxy background would be beneficial Cleanroom manufacturing experience. Optical alignment experience. Thermal/vacuum systems experience. Experience supporting qualification or flight hardware programs.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $170000.00 - $195000.00/yr.
