Job Title: Water Jet Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Water Jet Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining water jet cutting machines to produce precision parts from a variety of materials and metals. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operation, blueprint reading, and quality control.

Shift: 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday Pay: $25 - $35/hr Location: Pembroke, MA Responsibilities

• Set up and operate water jet cutting machines according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to determine cutting paths.
• Load and secure materials onto the cutting table.
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on water jet equipment.
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Document production data and report any issues to supervisors.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience operating CNC or water jet cutting machines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
