Hospice RN Job Details – Plymouth, MA

• Location: Plymouth, Massachusetts (02360) – South Shore region
• Job Type: Locum tenens / Travel Registered Nurse contract
• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient hospice (patient homes and facilities)
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 6, 2025
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday–Friday)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250 - $2310
• Travel Requirement: 30–50 miles per day (minimal mileage after first visit)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of application
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• COVID-19 vaccination series and booster required
• Minimum 1 year of hospice nursing experience (home health or facility-based)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from Plymouth, MA (no local travelers)
• Cannot have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health (travel, perm, or per diem) within the last 6 months
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for travel nursing assignments

Hospice RN Responsibilities

• Perform 4–5 hospice patient visits daily in outpatient settings, including homes and facilities
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients and families
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Document patient care activities accurately and communicate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Travel between patient locations within the Plymouth, MA area (30–50 miles/day)
• Comply with all agency, state, and federal healthcare guidelines and protocols
