Accountant I
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accountant I in Boston, MA. Responsibilities:
- Support department leadership with accounts receivable, billing processes, and general accounting functions
- Assist with expense tracking and reimbursement processing across multiple systems
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation
- Contribute to process improvements and help streamline workflows
- Analyze financial data and assist with reporting and reconciliation activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at various levels
- Bachelor's degree required; Preference for Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or MPA) preferred
- 2-3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial analysis
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to interpret financial data and key performance metrics
- Ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced, evolving environment
