Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Critical Care

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients
- Collaborate with physician teams to develop treatment plans
- Conduct physical exams and assess patient conditions
- Implement and monitor treatment plans and outcomes
- Document patient care activities in accordance with regulations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to patient care decisions
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- 2+ years of experience in critical care or related field
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of critical care protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Schedule: 7p-7a, 3-5 shifts in a row
7-bed closed ICU
Patient Volume: 5-7 per shift
Duties: Central lines, arterial lines, vent management, admissions, and ED consults
No intubations required
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
