Your Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Downtown Boston, MA. This is a full-time opportunity at a newly constructed property with 126 units of affordable family housing. You will report to other nearby sites in Boston as needed. You will join a team of maintenance professionals whose responsibilities include:
- Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.
- Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
- Providing access to and supervising contractors as needed.
- Performing groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas.
- Updating the Yardi mobile app and communicating with the team about the status of ongoing projects.
The work hours are 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with on-call duties shared on rotation.
Your Qualifications:
We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.
- Knowledge of general apartment repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work is required.
- Computer and smartphone skills are required; experience with Yardi or other work order systems is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
- Bilingual in English/Chinese languages is a plus.
- Candidates must reside within a 40-minute drive of Boston, MA (02111).

Pay Range: $26-31/hour depending on previous experience.
