Job Title: Welder
Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for welding compactors, front loads, and hook-lifts. The position offers a first shift schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with opportunities for occasional overtime and requires significant collaboration with the team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in morning meetings with your direct supervisor to receive daily assignments and materials.
• Read blueprints and collaborate effectively with other welders.
• Inspect your work to ensure all quality standards are met.

• MIG welding experience
• Strong math skills, including fractions and multiplication
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Capability to lift up to 45 pounds

• Proficiency in welding and blueprint reading

Work Environment

The work environment is structured around teamwork and collaboration. It is a first-shift role that may occasionally require overtime. Employees are expected to wear appropriate safety gear while performing their duties.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holyoke, MA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $27.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Holyoke,MA.
