Finance and operations assistant
JOB SUMMARY
Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys variety in your work and being a go-to resource for both financial and operational support? KBW Financial Staffing has partnered with a long-standing, family-owned organization that’s looking for an Accounting & Operations Coordinator to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and make a meaningful impact across multiple areas of the business.
What You’ll Do
- Support daily accounting operations including invoice processing, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Collaborate with leadership to assist with month-end and year-end financial activities.
- Partner with HR to help manage payroll and employee benefit updates.
- Maintain organized financial and operational records to support internal and external reporting.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for vendors and internal staff regarding payments, expenses, and documentation.
- Participate in special projects that strengthen accounting processes and team efficiency.
- Provide cross-functional support on administrative and operational initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business operations.
- Familiarity with accounting and payroll systems
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Confident communicator with a friendly, team-oriented personality.
- Self-motivated and adaptable—comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small, dynamic team.
