Location: Chicago, IL (100% Remote)
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description

We are hiring a Duck Creek Developer to join our team remotely. This individual should specialize on the Policy side.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Duck Creek Policy solutions.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Implement and maintain business rules, workflows, and user interfaces.

Develop custom components, integrations, and enhancements within the Duck Creek platform.

Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.

Create and maintain technical documentation.

Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Duck Creek development, with a focus on Policy.

Strong understanding of insurance business processes and systems.

Experience with configuration and customization of Duck Creek solutions.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

Proficiency in .NET C#, XML/XPath, SQL, and object-oriented design.

Experience with Duck Creek Author, Product Studio, Express, TransACT, and User Admin.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and APIs.

Experience with relational databases (MS-SQL, Oracle, MySQL).

Certification in Duck Creek technologies is a plus.
