Lead User Experience Developer

Oracle
Boston, MA

Job Description

Join our Customer Insights and Analytics team to design and deliver data-driven experiences that help teams make faster, better decisions across Oracle Health Advance, Process Analytics, and Oracle Health Customer 360. We're looking for a lead-level individual contributor who can drive UX strategy and execution end-to-end for complex, data-intensive products, partnering closely with product, engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Own UX for complex, data-rich experiences (dashboards, tables, filters, drilldowns, workflows), from discovery through delivery.

  • Lead cross-functional design work for initiatives that span multiple products and stakeholder groups.

  • Define and evolve UX standards and best practices across the portfolio (patterns, interaction models, reusable components), and drive adoption with partner teams.

  • Facilitate design sessions and workshops (journey mapping, process flows, design critiques, stakeholder alignment) with diverse audiences.

  • Produce information architecture, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes to communicate intent and validate solutions.

  • Present and defend design decisions with clear rationale grounded in user needs, data, usability principles, and business goals.

  • Partner with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation, including UX review, iteration, and design QA.

What Success Looks Like (6-12 Months)

  • Established or strengthened portfolio-wide UX standards and patterns for analytics workflows and improved consistency across products.

  • Delivered multiple high-impact features from concept to release with strong stakeholder alignment.

  • Improved usability of key workflows (for example, clearer navigation, faster time-to-insight, reduced friction in filtering and drilldown experiences) through iterative design and feedback.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading UX design for enterprise and or data-intensive products.

  • Demonstrated ability to design complex workflows and data visualization experiences (for example, dashboards, reporting, operational analytics).

  • Strong foundation in usability and UX best practices, with the ability to translate ambiguity into clear design direction.

  • Expertise with modern design tools (for example, Figma; familiarity with Sketch or Adobe XD is a plus).

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; comfortable partnering with engineering, analytics, product leaders, clinicians, and executive stakeholders as needed.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams while maintaining quality and momentum.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare or similarly regulated, high-stakes domains.

  • Familiarity with agile product development and iterative delivery.

  • Experience contributing to or working with a design system (creating patterns and components and driving adoption).

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards for enterprise software.

Portfolio Requirement

A portfolio is required. Please include a link to your portfolio (or 2-3 case studies) demonstrating your end-to-end design process and outcomes, ideally for enterprise and or analytics-heavy products. Applications without a portfolio may not be considered.
