**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** 12 Hour Night Shift **Description:** **Patient Care Assistant** **Department:** Courtyard East - this unit at Chelsea hospital cares for Medical-Surgical patients as well as chronic head pain patient populations. They assist in establishing and maintaining a patient care environment that is clean, safe and conducive to patient/family wellbeing including concepts of relationship-based care. Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success. The PCA assists patient in completing ADLs including: Bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation using assistive devices and with feeding and menu selection. They are responsible to record patient information and required data in appropriate areas in order to meet documentation requirements. **Shifts Available:** Night Shift - 7pm-7:30am **Status Available:** Full time and Part time, benefit eligible (72 or 48 hours per pay period - every two weeks) _Every other weekend and holiday rotation required_ **Required Qualifications** · High school diploma, GED, or a minimum of 18 years of age. · Recent experience desired.
