Job Description

Join a collaborative team focused on developing and executing LCMS-based methods to support the characterization of biological therapeutics. This role combines hands-on lab work with data analysis and regulatory support in a research-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and run LCMS methods for analyzing proteins, peptides, and other biologics.
• Perform protein characterization techniques such as glycan analysis, disulfide mapping, intact protein, subunit, and peptide mapping.
• Troubleshoot assays and maintain clear, accurate documentation.
• Use Thermo Orbitrap mass spectrometers and Protein Metrics software (Byos or Byosphere) to analyze MS data.
• Collaborate with team members to design studies and organize shared lab space.
• Support regulatory submissions (e.g., IND, BLA) by generating high-quality analytical data.
• Present project updates to clients and ensure deadlines and goals are met.
• Follow GLP, safety, and regulatory guidelines in all lab work.
• Apply scientific principles to solve problems and improve methods.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Required experience:
  • BS : 8–12 years
  • MS/Engineer : 6–10 years
  • PhD : 2–5 years
• Hands-on experience with LCMS, especially Thermo Orbitrap instruments.
• Familiarity with Protein Metrics software (Byos or Byosphere) preferred.
• Strong understanding of protein characterization and LCMS/MS techniques.
• Proficient with spreadsheet-based software and general computer skills.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team, with a positive and adaptable attitude.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.
