HVAC General Manager

Location: Worcester, MA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 Base (DOE) + Commission & Bonuses

We are looking for an experienced HVAC leader to build and grow a residential-focused service operation in the Greater Worcester area. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both hands-on technical work and leadership , with the ability to help shape and scale a growing service business.

In the early stages, you will be hands-on in the field, solving customer issues and setting service standards. As the team grows, you will transition into full operational leadership , building a high-performing team of technicians and installers.

Technical & Field Leadership

• Perform residential HVAC service, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and maintenance

• Provide same-day solutions for residential service calls when possible

• Establish service standards and best practices for the team

Operational & Business Leadership

• Oversee P&L performance, revenue growth, budgets, and key performance indicators

• Build and lead a team of technicians and installers as the company expands

• Optimize dispatching, technician productivity, and job costing

• Develop operational procedures, work instructions, and technical knowledge resources

Team Development

• Mentor and coach technicians on technical standards, safety, and customer service

• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture

Vendor & Customer Management

• Maintain strong vendor relationships for competitive pricing and supply reliability

• Ensure exceptional customer experiences and service quality

• Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards

• 7-10+ years of HVAC experience , with strong knowledge of residential systems

• Previous management, supervisory, or leadership experience

• Experience managing P&L, budgets, and revenue growth

• Comfortable performing hands-on
